Questers touring Oxford
Purpose
The object of the Group is to arrange visits to places of interest to the members of the Anton U3A.
The choice of transport for visits will be coach, community minibus or self-drive. Members are respectfully requested to make payments for visits by bank transfer. (See the bank details here)
New Questers Committee members are always welcome and members who are interested in joining the Committee should contact the Group Coordinator.

At a recent meeting of the Questers committee one of the items on the agenda was for those who wished to self-drive to a Questers’ venue and join the party there for whatever reason, what should they pay?
There was much discussion but it was decided that all those who want to go on the trip will pay what everyone else is paying, including the cost of the minibus hire if there are seats available, whether taken or not. If a member chooses to make their own transport arrangements they will still be required to pay the full charge if they could have been accommodated in the minibus.
If a member cancels their seat with a genuine unforeseen reason e.g. medical appointment or sickness and has paid the due sum, then the committee will decide whether to refund the amount paid. This will generally happen.
Volunteer minibus drivers needed for outings.
If you are under 70 years old and would be willing to drive the Unity minibus on outings please contact Cecil Rose to find out more.

Monday 02 June 2025 QUESTER’S BOURNEMOUTH TRIP
Just a quick notice to draw your attention to this year’s seaside trip to Bournemouth which is taking place on Monday, 2nd June departing Wickes at 9am sharp and returning from our drop-off point at 3.15pm.
Pete already have a few names (Anne Scott, Olive, Barbie and Billy plus Pauline) so please inform him if you would like a seat on the minibus by the main May meeting being held on Wednesday, 14th May or sooner if possible. The likely cost should not exceed £10 per person.
