Questers touring Oxford
Purpose
The object of the Group is to arrange visits to places of interest to the members.
The choice of transport for visits will be coach, community minibus or self-drive. Members are respectfully requested to make payments for visits by bank transfer. (See the bank details here)
New Questers Committee members are always welcome and members who are interested in joining the Committee should contact the Group Coordinator.

SCHEDULE OF PLANNED VISITS 2024
Thursday 16 May 2024. Guided Tour of The Brickworks Museum, Swanwick
SPACES STILL AVAILABLE
- Self drive or car share
- Leave Wickes 09:30
- Time available when we arrive for comfort break and orientate and make ourselves known to guide and maybe have a tea or coffee in the Café before starting the tour.
- The tour will start at 11:00 and will be fairly informal with questions being welcomed.
- After the tour there is a café available onsite with a range of light lunch options (attached is the menu)
- The site also houses the Southampton and District Transport Heritage Trust (https://thebrickworksmuseum.org/explore/steam-road-rail/) and a Penny Arcade (https://thebrickworksmuseum.org/explore/penny-arcade/) where the machines can actually be played on purchasing old pennies on site.

Monday 10 June 2024. Minibus trip to Swanage

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SWANAGE
Departures and Return Location and Times
The minibus will depart from Wickes at 8.45am sharp and you will be dropped off in Swanage beside the railway station on Gilbert Road, a short walk to the promenade. This will also be the pick-up point and we plan to leave there at 3.15pm prompt or when we’re all on the bus if earlier. We will be dropping off those who wish to visit Corfe Castle but be advised that you need to make your own way down to Swanage, either by train or bus. Please advise the organiser (me!) of your intentions before we depart from Andover.

Payment for this trip (£10.00 per person) should be made by BACS by no later than Monday, 20th May to the following:
